Open Ben Nevis Challenge - Saturday 31 May 2008

18 participants took part in Charitytrek’s Open Ben Nevis Challenge on Saturday 31 May and enjoyed one of the finest days on the mountain this year.

It was a beautiful hot sunny day with little wind and yet another weekend this month that provided those reaching the summit with magnificent views stretching as far as the eye can see.

All 18 participants successfully completed the climb in 8 hrs and 40 mins which is a fantastic achievement and one to be very proud of.

Many good causes benefited from the group’s efforts including Alzheimer’s Society, Alzheimer Scotland Action on Dementia, Cancerbackup, Diabetes UK, L’Arche, Love Russia, Neurofibromatosis Association and Scottish Motor Neurone Disease Association.
