The Scottish Motor Neurone Disease Association
Motor Neurone Disease (MND) is a progressively disabling and fatal condition for which there is no known cause or cure. More than 120 are diagnosed each year in Scotland, and the average life expectancy after diagnosis is only 14 months.
The Scottish Motor Neurone Disease Association is the only charity providing direct care and information to people living in Scotland with MND. We also fund research into the disease, and rely almost entirely on voluntary donations and fundraising to deliver our essential services.
