Our trip will cover the cultural sites of Kathmandu including the Hindu Pilgrimage site of Pashupatinath and the Buddhist Stupa of Boudha as well as the fascinating Durbar Square.
Our 6 day trek will take us on a challenge through one of the most beautiful parts of the Himalayas - the foothills of the
Annapurnas – it offers awesome views and a chance to experience some of the renowed Nepali hospitality and culture.
En-route we will stay at Bandipur, a beautiful medieval town on the old Tibet – India trade route. We will visit Ghandrung, one of the main Gurung villages from where Gurkhas have been recruited, and the high point of the trek will be the viewing point at Poon Hill from where you can experience the sun rise over the Himalayan giants of Dhaulagiri, Machhapuchare and Annapurna and enjoy the
splendid mountain vista.
